Hey. For anyone interested, this is my new, personal blog. Well, actually, it’s been here for a while and it’s only now that I’m adding to it. I write blogs because I get bored easily.
What’s a good place to start? Well, here are some other places where I exist on the Internet.
- I translated an article from Arabic for an Islamic newspaper. The publication can be accessed online here: http://www.islam.am/news/August2004new.pdf.
- I took a three year program in Islamic jurisprudence and my testimonial, although embarassing in retrospect, is here: http://www.shariahprogram.ca/Islam.shtml.
- I wrote a very basic tutorial on learning to read Arabic for this course; it can be accessed here, although the website went through some changes and the HTML is fudged: http://www.shariahprogram.ca/Arabic-alphabet.shtml.
- I’m on Facebook of course, but I avoid online chat and social communities: http://www.facebook.com/people/Nick_Jamil/717720980.
- I worked on open source software, DrProject, for one of my professors, Greg Wilson, during summer 2008. My blog for that project is available here: http://drpnewt.wordpress.com/.
- Greg mentioned me in his blog a few times under the DrProject category. As did Liz Blankenship and my friend Kosta Zabashta.
- I helped write How to install DrProject on Windows.
- My modest work on DrProject made it to the page about the Basie Project and its antecedents. Check it out: http://blog.basieproject.org/?cat=1&paged=2.
- Maybe more?
